GRANDMA'S RULL KOOCHEN

Grandma’s Rull Koochen

This is another recipe passed down from my great grandmother

3 cups flour
2 tsp baking powder
1 tsp soda
1 tsp salt
2 eggs beaten
1 cup milk
1 cup sour cream

Mix together and knead well. Let rest for about 15 minutes, covered. Roll thinly, cut into strips, and deep fry until crisp. Serve with pieces of cold watermelon. Also can be sprinkled with sugar, or cheese. But traditionally it was a light lunch on a summer day with cool crisp chunks of watermelon topping the warm crisp rull koochen.
