Stir Fry Vegetables and Chicken
(or other meat or seafood)
1 each red and orange pepper
½ head savoy cabbage
1 cup snow peas
1 inch fresh ginger
3 chicken breasts (or other meat)
3 tbsp heach hoisin and soy sauce
1 tbsp honey
1 tsp hot chili garlic sauce
1 tbsp vegetable oil
Chop peppers into pieces. Core cabbage and slice in strips. Remove tips and strings from peas. Peel and finely chop ginger. Slice chicken into thin strips. In a small bowl, stir soy sauce with hoisin, honey and chili garlic sauce.
Heat oil in a large frying pan over medium heat. Add chicken and ginger. Stir until chicken is no longer pink. Then add cabbage and sauce.
Stir often till cabbage is almost tender crisp 5 – 8 minutes. Then add snow peas and continue stirring a bit longer. Serve over rice or with crisp rice noodles.
